I've been learning about .map() and .forEach():
✅ Both are used to call a function on an array.
✅ .map() can be chained with other methods, .forEach() can't.
✅ .forEach() doesn't return a new array, .map() does.
Tonight I gave one of my favourite lectures at @CommandShiftHQ on deployment. It’s really cool to get towards the end of the module and show our students that all the hard work they’ve put in creating APIs with Express can finally see the light of day when deployed with @render.

Day 22, #100DaysOfCode, More arrays function tests with @CommandShiftHQ. I've been practising using for loops to iterate through all of the strings in an array and change their characteristics.😄

Day 87-89 of #100DaysOfCode and today has been crazy productive as I had a rare day off work. Managed to get much of my Music Library complete and conversations with wonderful tutors and cohort mates really makes me feel lucky to have this opportunity with @CommandShiftHQ 💫
Day 100 of #100daysofcode and I am plodding along with the basic express module it’s going slow atm because of work commitments but it seems to be sinking it quite well, perseverance is key @CommandShiftHQ

Day 44 of #100DaysOfCode and I’ve finished the @ManchesterCodes virtual Pet. Used it as an opportunity to reincarnate my late cat, Dexter, now forever meowing in JavaScript 😂

DAY017: A useful refresher session tonight with @ManchesterCodes on GitHub and some of the JavaScript basics. Hit a bit of a roadblock in the Cruise Ships project but managed to work my way through it with a bit of testing in Node.

We're incredibly proud to say that on our most recent cohort, 12 out of the 18 students were women.
We also understand that more needs to be done to include Trans Women, Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic Women and Women with disabilities.

✨ Last Backend lecture & what a wild ride it has been. NGL it's not my favourite part of JS but the amount of hours I put in into trying to understand BE better has paid off. I understand it better and can read/write codes easier.

Week two of @ManchesterCodes and so far enjoying it :) We started off learning about the command line (terminal), before moving onto GIT and have just started learning about HTML.

It has been two weeks since i graduated from @ManchesterCodes and I'm conscious of keeping up my learning, so I am trying to average an hour a day of study. Been using an app called Forest to focus. Surprisingly effective. Plants a tree for every 25 mins of study
Enjoyed styling my portfolio page for the @ManchesterCodes HTML and CSS modules over the past few days. 🤠
Day 9 #100DaysOfCode and some light reading on the software development lifecycle. It wasn't riveting. Day 10 much more hands on (and fun) with proj' 8 of #Javascript30, working my inner artist 👨🎨 with #HTML canvas and some pretty styles with #javascript and eventListeners 🖌️

After some initial planning, I’ve made a start on creating an API storing plant information. Haven’t touched backend in a few months so it’s all very foggy 🥴 Myself and @CamEw2 are creating an App around plant care for our final project at @ManchesterCodes 🥳
