Today I had the opportunity to join the 5th edition of Botrepreneurs Online Networking Event – Conversation AI/Chatbots/Voice. I met awesome people and got to discuss a variety of interesting topics! I could meet other NLP enthusiasts in this fantastic event! Everyone had a chance to provide insights into their respective fields, portfolio and industry tips, as well as career advice! There were conversations of all types and scenarios, we were able to discuss the impact of automation into conversational AIs, insights about default development of NLP/NLU, technologies commonly used and the difficulties we experienced, machine learning, handling specific dialogue/dialect cases and so much more! This was my very first online networking event and the SpatialChat definitely made it feel like we were all together in the same room in real life! Paraphrasing Angela Cantieni, it was a lot more fun than just a regular zoom meeting! The whole experience was just great! On Wednesday evening I joined the 6th Botrepreneurs Online Networking Event organized by Botrepreneurs Community - Conversational AI, Voice & Chatbots 🤖 Thanks Barend Jungerius - Conversational AI Consultant for organizing! This is definitely one of the most fun ways to network online 🤝 This time I even remembered to take a quick screenshot😁 It was great to see some familiar faces and to meet some new people! At some point, we discussed inclusivity in conversation design and how important it is to avoid bias. After the event I went online to search for books on technology and inclusivity and three books caught my eye. 📘 The Smart Wife by Yolande Strengers 📘 Invisible Women by Caroline Criado Perez 📘 Race After Technology by Ruha Benjamin I can't wait to read them and I'm very curious to see what I can learn from them🤔 💬💬💬💬 Do you have any good book recommendations on technology in combination with inclusivity/racisms/sexism/biases etc.? #conversationalai #conversationdesign

I had the chance yesterday to attend the 5th Botrepreneurs Online Networking Event and really enjoyed meeting a bunch of great people and learning a lot from them. Loved hearing the cool ways people are using chatbots but also nice to have a bit of non work related chat too!

Attendance at events and meetings is taken to the next level and it's a very promising system, instead of using zoom, we are using web3 platforms and it's much funnier! I love being able to talk to a room of people with the same goals, desires, and work problems. It's a place to vent and build my network. I can't speak for everyone, but I'm self-taught and came into UX with a winding road to getting here. Meeting people who know the terms and the books/classes that are of value for me to read is invaluable. I wouldn't be where I am in my profession without that help. One day, I hope I bring the same value that I get out of it.

It felt good to be able to attend 5th edition of Botrepreneurs Online Networking Event – Conversation AI/Chatbots/Voice. It was awesome to see some familiar faces as well as new faces in the community. It was great to be able to discuss a bunch of AI topics such as how "AI Conversation Design as Interface can help to speed up your go-to-market strategy" and "how some people made the transition from Developer to AI Conversation Designer".
