As a second language teacher I see my students struggle, spending hours doing grammar exercises and learning vocabulary by heart and getting frustrated not making progress. Weeve is such a fantastic idea, it removes the frustration so frequently associated with language learning. There's a sense of achievement as your progress through the book and it actually make language learning fun! So far I see it helping and my students loving it.

Weeve books were a real discovery for me. I love books immensely, I think they're the best way to communicate with people similar to us and with our same interests. They break any language, time and place barrier and what this small company has thought of creating is a wonderful way to feel even more part of this great community. What these books do is encourage people to learn a new language while at the same time doing it in a fun and simple way, while being comfortable in a world of fantasy that is familiar to them. My copy of pride and prejudice in Spanish was a real treasure. I highly recommend them.

I’ve taken French classes in the past but was struggling to find ways to incorporate French into my everyday life so I didn’t lose it. I was drawn to Weeve because it combined French with my love of reading, it was perfect!

I ordered Great Gatsby in German and a Christmas carol in Irish. It is a really fun way to learn another language without having to put too much effort into it. What I really enjoy about the books is the immediate feeling of success when you understand a word you've never seen before. Being a native German speaker myself I thoroughly investigated the book before giving it to my boyfriend and I think it is done in such a great way. I can only imagine the work that must go into a book like this. I am really looking forward to getting some Weeve Irish books for adults!

I love the concept of Weeve. It is definitely unique AND EFFECTIVE! The more you read into the story the more and more you understand.

Reading and language learning made engaging = my Weeve experience. Reading my Weeve book was like playing a game. Encountering a new word, guessing its meaning and finding out whether I was right at the end of each chapter made up this interactive and rewarding puzzle-solving process that I thoroughly enjoyed. Nevertheless, the weaved-in Spanish words in the storybook were simple yet generally applicable words which made up for a comfortable read. Also, slowing down to guess the weaved-in Spanish words according to context also enabled me to appreciate the storyline a lot more than I would have normally. In short, I do recommend Weeve books for those who are seeking to start language acquisition, beginner language learners who are looking to reinforce their vocabulary, or those who are purely interested in trying out a new reading experience. It’s worth it.
