Sigma School offers a really comprehensive and interesting course on software development which will teach students practical skills that will enable them to create beautiful & responsive websites. The projects that they ask us to do are incredibly useful and can be applied to a wide array of scenarios. The instructors are patient and helpful too (they'll lend you a hand without hesitation should you face any difficulty in programming your website, or they can also recommend first-rate channels on YouTube that will give you marvellous programming tutorials). One thing though, do be prepared for a potentially steep learning curve when you enter this course 💀. However, if you put in your best efforts and never throw in the towel till the end, you will end up evolving yourself into a job ready software developer 👨‍💻.

It was quite intensive, as you will likely learn new things every day, but I actually enjoyed learning throughout the 3 months. A typical daily class consists of a short lecture with a live coding session for around 3 hours. It also got a support session where you can join to get further understanding. You will learn all the necessary knowledge and skills on how to build a full-stack project from fundamentals to frontend to backend. For the final project, you will build a full-stack project mainly using React, Node.js/Express, PostgreSQL, and Firebase, at the same time, you will learn about good developer practices like version control, deployment, and debugging. Also, you get to learn some computer science knowledge like data structures and algorithms, which is really great. Not just that, it brings more than just building a full-stack project, it provides you with career help like resume writing and job support where you can network with peers after you graduate.

Absolutely love Sigma School. Course materials are straight to the point, and students are not spoon-fed. For instance, we had to Google some additional stuff when we were stuck in the project. And we are also assigned to a study buddy group so that it keeps us accountable when we feel like giving up. One of my favorite parts of the course is that students actually learn by building projects, not just doing tutorials all the time just like in other self-learning courses. "Learn by building", that's what I like about Sigma School.

I would highly recommend Sigma School that are still Welcome to anyone from any background and all ages with those who did not proceed above SPM/Diploma level. Beginner friendly that consist of 4 Module throughout 3 Months here you will learn the Basic JavaScript Language at Module 1 Fundamental and Module 2 you will learn Frontend and Module 3 you will learn Backend then lastly Module 4 you will work on your Capstone Project! They do provide code along and weekly test where you are required to take the test every week! Fees are quite affordable and flexible. They have office hours consult where you can choose to attend as there will be teaching assistant. They do have both online or physical option. This course does not require a SPM/Diploma! The instructor here are very patient at teaching us and guiding us with a very supportive environment especially Ms Safa are being patient in teaching us whenever we need help!
