Dev30 is a great course that helped me polish my Javascript skills. I came in with some coding experience hoping to better myself. The course is set up for people who has never coded. There are a lot of step by step tutorials that will help you build a foundation to move you toward the next level. The projects given in each module help you understand and utilize different concepts. It's one thing to watch and follow a tutorial, it's something else to actually code what you just learned. And dev30 does just that.

Since it’s a self-paced program, I managed to put it in my schedule in a way that learning doesn’t get overwhelming. The other great thing is – posting on LinkedIn, it was a very scary thing for me but once I did that first step (first post) and connected with other members of the program, the feeling was great! Now I post, comment, and get in discussions on LinkedIn without any shame of not knowing something, because if someone corrects your thinking about a specific thing – you learn something more! It's not something I'd automatically think of as being important, but dev30 brings it forth in a relatable way.

As a mainly self-taught developer, the Dev30 program provided some much-needed structure. The structure in the curriculum is fantastic, but the structure it added as a whole to my coding journey is immensely valuable. The lifestyle changes it encourages helped my learning progress significantly, even in programming things unrelated to Dev30! Posting on linked-in as part of the course will help my visibility and helped me build connections that will hopefully assist in my career for my lifetime. If you have the opportunity to take this course, you should even at full price its cheap and an excellent supplement to anyone's learning to program journey!
