Great tips, great advise, fully applicable

I currently manage a large portfolio of engineered to order parts. I was as close to being a Product Manager as you can get without having the actual title. I have over 25 years of hands-on experience, but no college degree. I applied to hundreds of Product Manager Job listings over the past year in hopes of finally getting the opportunity to earn that coveted title, but I never received a call back for an interview. Needless to say, I was extremely discouraged and very disappointed, that is until I found Diego.

I started watching his You-Tube videos and reading his posts on LinkedIn. Soon I found out firsthand that he was offering sound advice that comes from real world experience working for some very impressive Fortune 500 companies. After reading lots of reviews, I cautiously decided to pay for a one-hour session of coaching and let me tell you it was the best investment of my career.

In that one hour of coaching, he completely rewrote my back story and put it into words that told an amazing story that any employer would be mesmerized to hear.

He helped me with interview questions and it was really a productive session. He helped me see myself in a completely different light and showed me the secrets to answering any interview questions that were thrown at me. He gave me the confidence and the tools to be successful in my job search.

Armed with all this amazing knowledge, I revamped my resume and cover letter and applied to what I would call my dream job, an almost impossible out of reach opportunity. The job description stated that a bachelor’s degree was required, but I still confidently applied. To my surprise, I was contacted by the HR representative who referred me to the hiring manager after our call. 

After a telephone interview with the hiring manager, I was asked to do two separate video interviews, one with the Corporate VP and the other with a Technical Director. Finally, I was asked to fly to their corporate headquarters for face-to-face interviews with approximately eight different people, from corporate executives to engineers. 

I remembered all the things that I learned from Diego which made each of my interviews very successful. According to LinkedIn, there were a total of 167 people who applied for this position, and I was one of only two people at the end of the process still standing. 

When it came time to make a hiring decision, they unfortunately chose the other person because he had over 15 years’ experience as a Product Manager working for a competitor whom they wanted to get customers from. 

If he didn’t have that extremely specific product knowledge and rolodex, I feel confident that I would have gotten this dream position. 

 Each one of my interviewers were so impressed with me, that they all requested that HR find me a position withing the company, and this was solely based on my interview performances thanks to Diego’s help. I’m happy to say that I am currently in talks with the company to see what exciting opportunities they have to offer me. 

Diego’s system truly works because it is based on sound advice from a man who has actual industry experience, and he cares about you as a client.
