Beekeeper Studio is BY FAR the most user-friendly DB GUI out there! I started using it a year ago and now our whole team bought a license. The multi-DB support is simply awesome as I use 4 different types of databases on a regular basis. Plus it works on Windows and Mac.

Our efficiency for managing our SQL code is a 2-3x improvement using Beekeeper compared to before.

I'm not sure I know what we would be doing without Beekeeper, probably coming up with file based sharing system with checkout permissions on a SharePoint which would be amazingly painful.

I used to use SQLyog but it was too expensive. This is just as good... and it's free!

For me, The best feature is the simplicity the UI of running my queries at speed when it matters most. Which has saved me and my team hours of button mashing thus freeing us to take care of what matters most - our Players

Beekeeper Studio is my go to tool for Database GUI operations - MySQL, Postgres, SQLite - one tool for the job. I also appreciate the shared queries for workspaces in the ultimate edition - makes it quick and easy to stand up connections on a new computer. Mac & Windows work feature for feature, so that's nice too!

I used to be a huge fan of Sequel Pro, which then turned into Sequel Ace. It's still a great tool but I needed something that was cross platform. I struggled to find a replacement and was literally keeping MacBooks around to run Sequel Pro but finally found Beekeeper. Literally it allowed me to be free of Macs. It's not even that other tools don't have the same features, its the look, feel, and general workflow that Beekeeper has that other tools don't match. That being said, the cloud workspace feature that lets me save my connections in different "Teams" is actually huge and something almost no competitor has.

Well functioning and modern design

I truly feel at home with the UI and UX, even in the free version! Transitioning from Postico was a significant upgrade for me. The autocompletions, sorting by values, and filtering features—all available for free—are fantastic! It's impressive how feature-rich it is while still being intuitive and fluid to use.

A really clean and modern experience. Vim mode is a little clunky, but was good enough to rely on. The clean interface meant that much more screen real estate can be used developing queries and examining results than other editors I have tried. I would recommended beekeeper to anyone

I use Beekeeper Studio with SQLite and SQL Server databases, both on Windows and Linux platforms. I've found it to be a stable, usable app. It's the daily driver for my work.

Actually a good DB tool, somehow took me forever to find a good one. am mostly loving for the UI and has good performance with it.

- My favourite feature is its free community edition, then its ability to connect seamlessly with so many different types of Clients. - I have used DBeaver, TablePlus, Sequel Ace. I still found Beekeeper to be having best UI, supporting MySQL and PostreSQL, and has sufficient features in community edition. - For each week, it saves approx 4-8 hours of effort. (As otherwise I had to use different app for my different DBs)

Beekeeper Studio is an enjoyable product due to the clean user interface/user experience (UI/UX). The navigation is easy, and the connections are simple, and I love that it supports Redis for free as well. Previously, I had used pgAdmin which I felt was too complicated, and then I used DBeaver, which had great features but was also a hassle to use, and the tools I needed were hard to find. I have used Beekeeper Studio for about 2–3 months now, and I really love it! The interface, navigation, and ease have all been invigorating. Also, being open source is a huge plus. I feel like I’m missing the ER diagram/database design tool that I had in DBeaver, but maybe it’s here somewhere and I just haven’t found it yet. But other than that, the experience has been great. Overall, Beekeeper Studio has no doubt improved my workflow, and I’m enjoying using it.

Great experience, super easy to use!

It works nicely in Linux. I was used to using TablePlus in MacOs. It's slower, but that is to be expected. Nothing to complain. Copy to IN queries and JSON / CSV copies have been used quite regularly now. Only minus is from the relative speed difference, note that I'm not comparing it to DataGrip or similar even slower alternatives.

always used HeidiSQL because that is what comes with MariaDB (and it's free) but have always been frustrated with the slow to non-existent autocomplete and having to use the mouse a lot. BeeKeeper helps resolve these frustrations. JSON formatting of table data is super convenient.

Besides the clean UI and the dark mode of course, probably what I like the most is the copy options available for query results and how easily I connect to and switch between databases. This makes work effortless and distraction-free. I migrated from pgAdmin. Beekeeper Studio is easily a thousand times better. It's so much lighter, faster, and more enjoyable to use.

tbf as a Gen-z dev, I can't afford to look back and write dozens of lines every time I got to tweak stuffs. Beekeeper has made my work way faster ngl. Now I can employ more of my time to design, not spam my keyboard.

I am a noob/ novice to programming with an ambitious project of developing a service delivery management tool for my community using only open source software. I identified postgresql as our database but were unable to find a simple tool that would be a desktop client while also helpinv visualize my table and make small corrections easily. Honestly I have been through the entire gamut from nocodb, to pgadmin to appsmith to dbeaver. I found beekeeper to be the simplest and easiest to work with. Being a novice, i cannot talk about other major technical features but the simplest manner and easiest to use.

Beekeeper Studio has been a staple in my toolbox for database management for the last four years. The connection management, the vim keybindings, and vimrc support make this tool a breeze to use and something I recommend everybody use!

I have to use multiple databases (MySql, Postgre and MS SQL) and Beekeper has been an absolute joy! The UI is clean and has exactly what I need.

I love beekeeper–it made all my other DB clients obsolete on day one. It is so nice to be able to keep the same client for different kinds of database, because let's face it: modern apps need both SQL and NOSQL DBs and there is often a DWH involved also. One thing I really like: the color coding, that I use to show me which environment I'm working. Simple, but super useful.

It Opens Fast, which is what I really like the most. I migrated from DBBeaver (It takes to open, More Features, but not UI friendly). I was able to operate between multiple databases easily than with DBBeaver, as in DBBeaver

I‘ve started using Beekeeper since it is more or less the only „native“ and not buggy feeling SQL client on Mac. I stayed for the MongoDB Integration, no need to switch to half baked UI clients for Mongo anymore!

I migrated from dBeaver, and I haven't opened that app since. Beekeeper is so simple to use; that's what makes it great. You don't know (or maybe you do) how annoying DBeaver is. Its interface is overcrowded, and there's a lot of junk that you don't need. When I first opened Beekeeper and saw the interface, I was shocked. I didn't think a studio would be so spacious and easy to navigate. Its been amazing so far

Beekeeper Studio offers a clean, modern and minimalist GUI. By far the most beautiful, combined with speed and intuitive interface. I did migrate from databricks to SQLite Studio due to a new project and beekeeper allows me to have a premium db management tool even with small projects.

I use this tool a lot as it has a very simple interface useful for screen sharing and quickly inspecting the database but doesn't keep any power tools away from you. I can also use this with multiple database types so it's a no brainer to keep using it. Thank you for a great product!

I've just started using Beekeeper Studio and it's excellent. I've been looking for a SSMS-like clean interface for database work against AWS RedShift, and this is easily the best client I've found. ... just waiting for (a) saved workspaces, and (b) source control [git] integration ;p

Ease of use, clean interface, fast responce, reliable operation. No migration from another tool. The Download function as CSV saves time and generates well formed CSV, which can easily be imported to a spreadsheet.

As a principal engineer that is always looking for the most efficient way to get something done, I work on a combination of Mac and Linux and the ability to have feature parity and the same application on both platforms is outstanding. We were an early adopter of DuckDB and it's fantastic to have it supported now.

The sheer speed alone is enough to make Beekeeper one of the best DB GUI but it's also friendly and really useful.
