Beekeeper Studio is BY FAR the most user-friendly DB GUI out there! I started using it a year ago and now our whole team bought a license. The multi-DB support is simply awesome as I use 4 different types of databases on a regular basis. Plus it works on Windows and Mac.

I'm not sure I know what we would be doing without Beekeeper, probably coming up with file based sharing system with checkout permissions on a SharePoint which would be amazingly painful.

Its a great educational tool for my son to learn SQL and databases in A level (Grade 11/12) computer science. Beekeeper really brings a dry theoretical topic to life, and allows him to understand and try key DBMS concepts in a rapid prototyping environment. We have tried many other tools, and we find Beekeeper to be the best in visualizing the changes almost interactively.

Beekeeper Studio is one of the few database tools I’m willing to keep using.
The grid editing experience is great, and everyday data browsing and editing feels very natural.
Connection management and object browsing could still improve, but overall it’s easier to live with than many alternatives.

Two key things. First, connectivity. I don't have to use DB Browser for SQLite, MySQL Workbench for MySQL, psql for PostgreSQL. Beekeeper works with them all. Second: AI. The AI feature compiles English into SQL.

My cloud based db solution closed down their frontend UI, to focus on branching, so I needed something else to view/edit the db ... Beekeeper is as advertised, and it's free for what I currently need. If I ever need more, I'll likely just upgrade to a paid account.

I used to be a huge fan of Sequel Pro, which then turned into Sequel Ace. It's still a great tool but I needed something that was cross platform. I struggled to find a replacement and was literally keeping MacBooks around to run Sequel Pro but finally found Beekeeper. Literally it allowed me to be free of Macs. It's not even that other tools don't have the same features, its the look, feel, and general workflow that Beekeeper has that other tools don't match. That being said, the cloud workspace feature that lets me save my connections in different "Teams" is actually huge and something almost no competitor has.

Beekeeper Studio is an enjoyable product due to the clean user interface/user experience (UI/UX). The navigation is easy, and the connections are simple, and I love that it supports Redis for free as well.
Previously, I had used pgAdmin which I felt was too complicated, and then I used DBeaver, which had great features but was also a hassle to use, and the tools I needed were hard to find.
I have used Beekeeper Studio for about 2–3 months now, and I really love it! The interface, navigation, and ease have all been invigorating. Also, being open source is a huge plus.
I feel like I’m missing the ER diagram/database design tool that I had in DBeaver, but maybe it’s here somewhere and I just haven’t found it yet. But other than that, the experience has been great.
Overall, Beekeeper Studio has no doubt improved my workflow, and I’m enjoying using it.

always used HeidiSQL because that is what comes with MariaDB (and it's free) but have always been frustrated with the slow to non-existent autocomplete and having to use the mouse a lot. BeeKeeper helps resolve these frustrations. JSON formatting of table data is super convenient.
