Beekeeper Studio is BY FAR the most user-friendly DB GUI out there! I started using it a year ago and now our whole team bought a license. The multi-DB support is simply awesome as I use 4 different types of databases on a regular basis. Plus it works on Windows and Mac.

I discovered Beekeeper Studio because I was frustrated with the DBeaver interface. What I really wanted was a straightforward tool with a modern design that would allow me to run SQL queries and easily check my database structure for debugging. Beekeeper Studio meets all my needs perfectly.

Clean, modern UI to connect to a multitude of databases and data platforms. Moving from VSCode with SQLTools, which required installing database-specific drivers and dealing with the atrocious GCP BigQuery UI, this is a very welcome change. Batteries included indeed!

Its a great educational tool for my son to learn SQL and databases in A level (Grade 11/12) computer science. Beekeeper really brings a dry theoretical topic to life, and allows him to understand and try key DBMS concepts in a rapid prototyping environment. We have tried many other tools, and we find Beekeeper to be the best in visualizing the changes almost interactively.

Beekeeper Studio is one of the few database tools I’m willing to keep using. The grid editing experience is great, and everyday data browsing and editing feels very natural. Connection management and object browsing could still improve, but overall it’s easier to live with than many alternatives.

I have completely switched from dbeaver to beekeeper, and lovin' it... the interface is simple with no unnecessary complexity.

Beekeeper let me use SQL DBs in my workflow. Im a data scientist and exploring, touching and looking at tables is a must. With beekeeper is super easy to navigate DBs, local or remote almost regardless the technology and size. Even in the free plan (please add DuckDB to the free plan ;) )

Migrated from pgAdmin, felt like moving from teams to slack

1. I do love the ability to preview data as a JSON. 2. Before I used two separated apps: "MySQL Workbench" and "pgAdmin 4". 3. Can't say for sure, but it really saves time

I absutely love beekeeper studio. I do not use many of the features, but i really enjoy the table view.

I love the ease of use with Beekeeper Studio. I love the "View data" and "View structure." The relations table is a plus within the "View structure." The features make my job so much easier and quicker, than spending hours trying to find the information. I've used other tools in the past, but Beekeeper Studio is the best!!!

Beekeeper is one of the cleanest and best workbench for any database. I really liked the UX and the way is made to stay focused with necessary features only. Keep up the great work. Cheers! Love from a developer to developers.

What is your favorite feature? The interface is clean and fast. Writing queries, browsing tables, and inspecting results all feel smooth and straightforward. When you spend a lot of time working directly with Postgres during development, that kind of workflow really matters. Did you migrate from another tool? Yes. I used pgAdmin before switching. It works, but it feels heavy for everyday development. Beekeeper Studio is much lighter and easier to work with. How much time do you save by using Beekeeper Studio? A few hours every week. When you are constantly iterating on queries and inspecting data during development, having a tool that stays out of your way makes a real difference.
