Introduction: After a 6-month immersive journey, I'm thrilled to announce that I've successfully completed Elizabeth Alli's Product Design Bootcamp at DesignerUp. As someone who was eager to deepen my skills and understanding of UX/UI design, this course has been a game-changer for me. 

Course Content: The curriculum was robust, covering everything from the fundamentals of design thinking to the nitty-gritty of wireframing and prototyping. What impressed me most was the course's focus on current industry trends and best practices, ensuring that we're learning skills that are immediately applicable in the job market. 

Instructor Expertise: Elizabeth Alli is a phenomenal instructor. Her deep expertise in the field is evident, not just in her lectures but also in the real-world examples she brings into the classroom. Her teaching style is engaging, and she has a knack for breaking down complex concepts into digestible pieces. 

Learning Experience: The course was structured in a way that allowed for incremental learning, with each module building on the last. The pacing was just right—challenging yet manageable, ensuring that we were always pushing our boundaries without feeling overwhelmed. 

Materials and Resources: We were provided with a wealth of resources, from textbooks and articles to software tools and templates. These materials served as invaluable references that I continue to consult in my current projects. 

Practical Application: One of the highlights of this course was the opportunity to work on real-world projects. I've been able to directly apply the skills I've acquired in my own work, and I'm thrilled to share that I've launched my personal website portfolio. Areas for Improvement: While the course was excellent overall, I think there could be more focus on user research methodologies and perhaps more guest lectures from industry experts to provide different perspectives. 

Conclusion: In summary, Elizabeth Alli's Product Design bootcamp at DesignerUp has been a transformative experience for me. I wholeheartedly recommend this course to anyone looking to elevate their skills in UX/UI design. And yes, I'm open to feedback on my portfolio—because let's face it, the journey of a designer is always a work in progress!

So far it's been really great. I love the detailed feedback we get when we post work. There are tons of resources. Coming from a background outside of the industry, this is incredibly helpful. The live office hours were incredibly valuable too—I got a lot out of hearing from people with different backgrounds and at different stages in the industry. The insights on portfolios and what people look for in them really connected with why we're learning certain ideas and processes.
