I am so excited to see a quality language learning tool come to the VR space. This is more than an just an app, in that it provides first hand language learning in the virtual space. I highly recommend this for those who are looking for a fun way to interact with their new language.

Immerse is everything I’ve been looking for. I have studied grammar, vocabulary, everything you can imagine (including chatting online with other people in Spanish)….except for the actual speaking with other people in real settings. This is exactly what I needed and exactly what I found when I joined Immerse. The guides and the rest of the staff are incredibly friendly and will go the extra mile to make the experience a positive one. Every day I look forward to my evening because I know that I’m going to have a great time.

Immerse takes Spanish learning to the next level by submerging you into an environment with great instructors and awesome peers. I look forward to putting on my headset before each class and making sure my avatar is just the way I want it. The classes are fun, interactive, and engaging. There are so many environments and classes to take which makes the monthly membership price a bargain. If you're on the fence I highly recommend giving it a go. You won't regret it. The teacher was very nice and inclusive. The class felt really comfortable. We all helped each other and worked to converse on our topic. I learned so much in just one class! I can’t wait to practice again soon- hasta pronto!

Already I am finding it easier to understand the podcasts I listen to in Spanish, and I am getting better at thinking/reacting in Spanish instead of trying to translate everything to English first. Most importantly though, I am finding the confidence to just SPEAK instead of being scared to say something wrong. Having the guides there to gently correct is so reassuring and amazing.

Before I found Immerse, I was paying $200/month for Immersion-based Spanish classes over Zoom, and I was happy to do so. Immerse gives me everything that class gave, plus more, and at a fraction of the cost. The role-play style classes are fantastic. And the locations that are used for each class's theme are creative and detailed. "Classroom", "Restaurant", "Airport", "Doctor's Office", etc. Every location is filled with all kinds of thoughtful details and unexpected interactions. It's incredible sharing a classroom with a guide and other students, all in different places, some of them halfway around the world. This is the best and most tangible implementation of "Metaverse" technology I could conceive. And it works. I've been taking classes for about 2 months now, and I'm already dreaming in Spanish.

¡Viva Immerse! Immerse is tried and true an incredible VR app! Before joining I has Spanish basics under my belt but couldn't hold a conversation. Just over a month after joining Immerse everything has improved! I'm now able to have fluid conversations with native Spanish speakers, including my Cuban fiancee's abuela and her primos who do not speak much English or any at all. The unlimited program is well worth it for those who have the time. ¡Gracias Immerse por acercarme a mi nueva familia!

I’ve been to many of the classes and each time I learned something new. The instructors were very thoughtful and the learning experience was way more personalized than a standard classroom setting. All the activities were very engaging and the time flew by! When I saw my family using this app I was skeptical. Sure, it worked for them but that’s because they already knew a good amount of Spanish before, right? I was so wrong, I went into this app not expecting to learn a whole lot more but now I feel confident that if I ever got lost in Mexico I could find my way back. Absolutely lovely people and lessons. I can’t think of any improvements that need to be made, I think the program and the staff are excellent!

A safe space to practice language output. Immerse is incredible at giving you semi structured scenarios to practice your language output. The VR gives you a feeling you can’t get over a zoom class. The lesson plans are thoughtfully created and the teachers go over corrections as the end. While this might not be everyone’s learning style, it is a great place to feel safe to try out things you are learning. The membership cost is a good value when you take into account the small class sizes and the quality of the teachers. The paywall also keeps out distracting non serious learners. The best part of the Immerse experience is definitely the camaraderie of the community. There is an “in this together” feeling and everyone is very supportive. There are plenty of great resources out there for obtaining language input and learning grammar but those like Immerse that push your output are sorely lacking.

Now, Immerse offers TWO FREE LANGUAGE CLASSES per month and free UNLIMITED ACCESS to the social lounges and environments for everyone to explore, learn and practice. This was not the case back then because the only way to access the classes was through the 7 day free trial, but now everyone can jump in, book their classes and have fun and have a few laughs while learning. With language learning apps like Duolingo, Rosetta Stone etc, you are just learning the language itself. But with Immerse, you are learning the language and you are learning how to INTERACT in realtime using the language. The classes are also fun and engaging..simply the best and most productive time I ever spent on VR. I'm excited to see what Immerse has to offer for us in the future and looking forward for more languages to be added 🤗😊

My teacher was incredible. This platform had WAY more than I expected. I was taught by a real native Spanish speaker, her name was Stefy and she was my "Guide." I've been struggling to learn Spanish all my life and the duolingo style apps never worked well for me. I always felt like I needed more, and this app is exactly that. 

Ok. This is the absolute future of learning languages!! Anyone who has learned a language knows immersion is KEY. This is the closest you’ll get without moving out of the country. Do yourself a favor, decide to learn a language, and commit…when you’re fluent (and I actually believe I’m on my way now that I have access to live teachers) you’ll never regret it. Vamonos!

I do not get much use from Meta Horizons or big screen - it’s random and chaotic and rarely more than small talk. I've waited for something like Immerse since before oculus quest 1. It’s a lot of fun. I’m 100% convinced this is the future - of not only education - but of all social VR experiences.

This is such a fun way to learn Spanish - and totally worth the price! I took 4 years of Spanish in high school, but it has been a long time since then. I feel like Immerse has really helped me start to get my Spanish skills back! 

Without friends to talk to, it is hard to become fluent or to gain confidence to even speak a new language in public. This app fills in the gap in my learning I look forward to scheduling more lessons and hope the platform continues to grow!

I've been on my Spanish learning journey for years. Nothing has really ever given me that immersive feeling like being in Mexico and speaking with locals spontaneously. I found myself so engaged in the "game" and environment and with the people in the class that my anxieties and fears of speaking were not on my mind. 

Love the interaction in this app! You can have fun and meanwhile learn a lot! Also the price of membership is understandable. Best wishes to all the team members! You guys are geniuses!
