I initially signed up for coaching with a goal in mind as I a had a wedding I was going to be in, in 3 short months and the dress I had did not fit as nicely as it could have. Challenge for me was not being confident enough to go in a gym and use equipment properly or know Why I was using it. Within a few weeks of getting with Steve, he was able to show me how to use the equipment in the gym and focus on the areas of my body I was trying to target and in no time that dress fit perfectly! Fast forward to now I am totally confident to go in the gym without Steve (although not my preference lol) and get through an entire workout alone! Pair that with a balanced nutrition plan and consistency, I'd say to anyone thinking about signing up, Stop, and just Do It!

I wanted to sign up for coaching with my wife to help us with our fitness and weight loss goals. Steve helped a lot with with easy to follow and understand nutrition tips and the workout programs were great. Although I lost weight, my biggest obstacle was not getting to my ideal weight goal. We made different changes to my diet and macros but I got stuck at my weight for 3-4 weeks. My workouts went well but the last 9-10 lbs didn’t seem to budge. In working with Steve, I learned more on how to more easily track my macros for every meal/snack. Being able to now visualize the portion sizes has been great and also using Macrofirst has been very helpful. I would tell anyone that is thinking about signing up to definitely do it. The coach g is great and the info is sound and well researched/practiced. I really enjoyed working with Steve, he is very knowledgeable and great to speak with.

My name is Jessica and I started working with Steve because I was ready to fine tune my fitness journey. After starting with a group strength training class and seeing results, I needed help with incorporating other healthy habits to reach my fitness goals. Steve has helped me take control of my health by teaching me how to set realistic goals and helped shape my perspective on the lifestyle changes I am attempting to make; not just losing weight but being healthy, fit, strong and confident in my body. He has provided the necessary accountability so I stay focused which has resulted in me to seeing the scale move quicker than when I was just working out and me learning more about health and fitness. The best thing about working with Steve is knowing that I am working with someone who is knowledgeable and who takes the success of his clients very seriously. He listens to my concerns, reminds me to show myself grace when needed and also pushes me when I need the extra help to stay focused on my goals. One healthy habit that I have developed since working with Steve is planning what I am going to eat the next day ahead of time. This has helped me make healthier choices, decreased my tendency to overeat and helps save money! I don’t have to prep it but just knowing what I will eat has helped me stay on track and see the scale go down.

So… I’ve been a loyal follower for some time now. Always good vibes and real talk. But guess what I learned this week?!? You are also RIGHT!! One of my take aways is “if you do nothing else- add more fruits and veggies.” I’ve been struggling lately so I thought ok- let’s try this. BOOM! I’m seeing a little improvement. I have also tried making veggies my to go snack if I am not sure if I’m really hungry or emotionally eating(because I can’t always tell). If I don’t want to finish the veggies… it is emotional. So at least I know and can deal with that- another Steve lesson. Thanks Steve for helping real people with real talk and practical solutions. 💛

I signed up to train with Steve because he was the most knowledgeable and passionate about strength training when I was looking for a trainer. His coaching helped me take control of my health because he didn’t throw all of the tips and tricks at me at once, he introduced them to me gradually starting with consistency. The best thing about working with Steve is his ability to make every exercise doable even when I believed them to be impossible. With his focus on form, he began each exercise with a base move and increased intensity based on my ability as an individual. It was never a generic workout, it was designed and adjusted specifically for me each session. The healthy habit I have developed since working with Steve has been to consistently show up for myself every day, by changing my mindset on how I view progress and trusting the process of training.

He asks the tough questions, make you really dig deep and understand where these bad habits come from and helps you decide how you want them to change. This is not a one way street you have to put in the work and he is there to help you all every step of the way.
