Instrumentl lets you drill down to a granular level of detail when performing searches (example, search by multiple different keywords, size of grants, fields of work). I like that I can have multiple projects set up (for different organizations and programs). I like that you can look at details about Funders including giving details about who they've given to and whether or not they give grants to first-time applicants or not.

The one thing I value most about Instrumentl is that it cut my "grant sleuthing" time down significantly. Instrumentl seems to be more "intuitive" than most of the search engines I have been using and doesn't require the correct spellings or abbreviations usually to identify a funding opportunity and pull up a profile.
