This was a great introduction to bankruptcy for my Paralegal course. It was highly engaging and interactive, which helped me to better understand the topic. Pradip is a fantastic teacher.

I have really enjoyed Pradip's Bankruptcy Course at Long Island University. I felt Pradip's approach to teaching was both engaging and thorough. I found the coursework to be interesting and the demands of the class to be manageable and appropriate.

Mr. Khakhar is a great teacher. His teaching style is very hands on which is great for visual learners like myself. I was able to learn and grasp concepts quickly due to his methods. It is a great thing when you have a teacher that can teach in a way that you understand. I appreciate his methods which have also helped me in my current job. He is a great teacher !

The course helped me to gain confidence in the complicated world of endless legal research and writing. It was hands on tasks learning; assignments varied in the time commitment and difficulty. As a paralegal and legislative aide I was able to implement my new skills in my job immediately.

I am currently enrolled in Mr. Khakhar’s computer-aided legal research course, and can easily say that I appreciate his teaching style. I am a hands on learner, and Mr. Khakhar emphasizes the importance of practice. We have not even reached the half-way mark of the course’s completion, and I have already found myself USING what I learned in this course at work! Being able to apply what I’ve learned almost immediately makes me that much more excited for what’s to come in the next weeks!

Pradip's individualized and experiential approach to teaching--even in a group class setting--ensures each student has the opportunity to master the material in the way they learn best. The training provided was effective and efficient. I appreciated that it was straight forward, and presented in a matter that kept you engaged, and was a safe space to ask questions. Every process was broken down and simplified so you were able to feel comfortable with the material after a short period of time. The instructor displayed patience and an easy going manner that helped to instill confidence in his pupils. His knowledge was apparent and came across with every interaction within each session. The ability to reach out for assistance, and get a quick response was also a feature that was much appreciated. The platform itself allowed you to reach out to fellow learners, and discuss topics and build a community.

I found the Computer Aided Legal Research class to be incredibly informative and helpful. The course gave me the opportunity to familiarize myself with legal research while using LexisNexis and Westlaw. Also, the course provided the time and guidance to work towards a level of comfort with reading and understanding case law. I recently changed careers and I am currently working as a Support Specialist/Legal Assistant in a local law firm. I am confident that the content learned, and tools utilized during this course will help me grow in my new career.

Mr. Pradip Khakhar is a extremely helpful Professor for the LIU Paralegal Program. I am a hands-on learner, I prefer to complete tasks on my own than listening to a lecture. Mr. Khakhar is definitely a hands on instructor. He allows his students to complete assignments on their own and briefly review afterwards for any questions/concerns. I learned more on how to become a paralegal by completing the material on my own and then correcting my mistakes after the review. Professor Pradip is very dedicated to his class and alumni; I learned valuable skills and discovered new tools to improve my legal research performance. He also shares a lot of his experience working at a law firm which I found very helpful for my paralegal career.

My name is Joanah and I am working toward obtaining an ABA-approved paralegal certificate to aide me in my career transition from hospitality into the legal industry. Pradip's Legal Refresher course has helped me with learning different legal writing styles, from case briefs to legal memorandum. Pradip challenges the class to think cognitively and extract relevant information from fact patterns to include in the legal briefs.

This course/program was a new step in a direction for me at this time in my life. As anyone can imagine, I was nervous and very "green" in regard to paralegal work, but I had a huge desire for a possible career change. Legal research and writing class seemed such a huge task at the beginning, but I must admit that professor Pradip Khakhar's style of teaching really helped. His style of giving practical work while teaching, I think, was the most helpful. It also helped that he was always patient and available during/after class via email and slack. I never felt "left out on a limb" with this new career path I signed up for, and I have to give him a big Thank You!

The training was good, and I learned how to research cases and Statutes by using Lexis Nexis and other outlets, which would be very useful for me know and in the future. The best thing about the Training/Services is I learn how to do a Case Brief & Legal Memo and extensive research. Prof. Pradip Khakhar's training was something that felt truly necessary especially as someone considering going to law school. Being able to think analytically, critically, and abstractly; are all crucial and essential skills that will be needed moving forward. Pushing and changing my own way of thinking at first was hard, but understanding "Why" exactly we were doing, making memos from scratch and being to expand our own research; needed skills. Yes, doing it blind at first seems hard, but figuring out your own method that is comfortable and compatible is the most important thing I feel I picked up in my time with Prof.P.

Mr. Khakhar is a wonderful and demanding teacher. He teaches with respect but also high expectations. This is a professional class and he treats students like professionals.

I am currently enrolled in Pradip's Legal Research and Writing course, attempting to change careers and become a paralegal. I find the course materials challenging because I do not have prior experience in this arena but interesting too. Thankfully, no matter how many questions I have, Pradip never looses patience or makes me feel that I can't ask something. He has extensive knowledge of the law and his passion for his work comes through in each class. It is giving me the confidence that I need to pursue my new endeavor and I am so grateful for that!
