I had the opportunity to take legal classes taught by Professor Khakhar for the Long Island University Brooklyn Paralegal Program. He is a confident leader with substantial legal experience, which is clearly reflected in his teaching. I appreciate his willingness to share his knowledge and mentorship.

I had the pleasure of having Pradip Khakhar as an instructor for Legal Research & Writing. The class was very enjoyable with him because of the hands on work he gave us. Besides his qualities as an instructor he is a kind gentleman. I look forward to having him for more courses.

Professor Khakhar helped me feel more confident in a class that could have been intimidating for me. He always made sure the material was understandable, even when the language barrier made certain concepts more challenging. His explanations were concise, practical, and easy to follow, which helped me understand not only the assignments, but also how legal thinking works. The best thing about working with Professor Khakhar is that he is patient, engaging, and very approachable. His class never felt overwhelming, and his sense of humor made Legal Research & Writing genuinely enjoyable. I am truly excited to take another course with him next semester.

Who are you / what are you working on? I’m a student in the paralegal program currently working on building strong legal research and writing skills, especially learning how to think and write more like someone in the legal field. How have I helped you? You’ve helped me a lot by being very direct and honest with your feedback. You didn’t sugarcoat things, which made it easier to understand where I needed to improve. You also used real world examples, which made everything feel more practical and not just textbook based. I really appreciated that you took the time to work with each of us individually. What is the best thing about working with me? The best thing was the balance. You were always available to help but also pushed us to figure things out on our own. That made me more confident in my own thinking. You were also very kind and never made me feel stupid for making mistakes. Instead, you showed me how to improve, which made a big difference.

Prof. Khakhar kept the Legal Research & Writing class engaging from beginning to end. It was especially valuable to have an instructor who actively works as a paralegal, as his real world insight, and the nuances he shared about the profession, were very beneficial. I look forward to my next course with Prof. Khakhar!

I attended Prof. Khakhar’s Legal Research & Writing class, and it was by far my most favorite class of the semester. I can not appreciate enough the fact that there were no too long lectures and mostly practical application excercises and concise lectures. He is funny, engaging and made the entire experience so fun that it didn't seem like 'learning'. I am excited to take Bankruptcy Law in the next semester.

I was in Prof. Khakhar’s Legal Research & Writing course. This was my favorite class by far of the semester because the class was mostly hands-on work. The not too long lectures combined with time for applied applications was the best. And he’s funny!

Learning with Pradip has been invaluable to the skills I am building as a paralegal. He is well versed and compassionate in his teaching, makes a 630pm class enjoyable!

Legal Research and Writing has quickly become my favorite class. Pradip is engaging, articulate, and supportive. As someone who hasn’t taken a course in a long time, he reminded me what I enjoy most about school- learning a practical skill and applying it in real time.

Pradip was an insightful and extremely engaging Professor, with a "hands on" approach to teaching and learning, allowing the students, with a clear and organized methodology, to acquire skills and knowledge in a combined and pragmatic fashion with a sharp focus on what a paralegal should focus on and do to produce legal research.
