The Releem guys are doing good work both identifying optimizable queries and suggesting optimizations (indexes, maybe some refactoring), Identifying slow queries is the hard part. That’s because the worst of them don’t rear their lazy heads until the app has been running in production and tables are growing. It’s extremely hard to predict which queries will be the worst when an app is new; actual usage patterns by actual users often surprise us. Releem’s distinctive approach is to correlate query performance with CPU and IO, and that’s good, but it takes intrusive server monitoring that owners of DBMS machines often won’t let mere developers do.

I've been using it for the past 20 months so I got in pretty early and have seen the product improve quite a bit. Running mysqltuner scripts was ok but it's a bit of guessing with those recommendations and really no way to keep track of performance stats unless your running some other db monitoring tool. It was cool that it would run for a week and say let's adjust these params, click restart mysql and off it goes for another week of analyzing. I have it running on a server with about 60 wordpress sites which imo is running great. One of the db challenges is with slow query capture figuring what is what, so I can view a slow query graph over the past 7 days, click on a spike and display just those queries impacted, see which db and query to determine if the table is from a plugin or core wordpress. The support has been good if I ask questions, the blog has some great info about mysql regardless if you don't use the tool, and for me it's like having a db specialist for tuning. Over time I don't see as many db changes occurring but the company continues to improve the product. I hope that helps.

Amazing product.
Imagine when they can suggest rewrite queries directly to ProxySQL 🤯🤯
Or analyzing that best course of action is trigger a new cache request to Readyset
Releem, best DBA friend ever!

I've been testing Releem for some time now and I really like it.
Configuration optimisation works nicely, I like how it gradually approaches the optimum.

Actually I found the tool really good and was impressed with it - to that extent I have recommended it to a couple of DB admins I know.

We are using Releem for our servers with success, from time to time we checking the panel.
Overall, the speeds did increase, so that’s a win for us. Not really something we would like to have changed, but some updates or new features are always welcome 😉

I would say that this tool is really great and very convenient to use and suggests with great optimization to use less CPU, RAM, and more, I am really satisfied with this optimization.

We often don't take the time to provide positive feedback, so I'd like to take a moment to commend Roman Agabekov and Releem for the phenomenal support I received this morning. I started a trial of the Releem MySQL performance tuning tool, and look forward to seeing what it finds! Thanks Roman 🙏

What do you like best about Releem?
Releem is a very good product that helps you forget about database optimization because it does it for you. As a server administrator I appreciate it very much, it saves a lot of my time and money. I run a hosting business and database performance is very important to me and my clients, Releem helps me solve these problems. Integration is easy, and if there are problems the Releem team always helps. I very much appreciate CEO Roman's commitment to helping and understanding the customer. Working with him is pure pleasure.
A few words about the product and how it works:
- the first thing to do is to integrate Releem with databases, this is quite easy and there are many solutions, even for Docker.
- Up to 3 days in Releem dasboard we have the result of database performance analysis and recommended settings that should be changed to get better database performance.
- Implementation of new settings can be done automatically or manually
Done. All this, very easy and acceptable without spending hours on tuning the database manually.
What's good is that Releem Dashboard also shows data such as latency, queries per second and slow queries so we can see how our database is performing on the fly.
Releem is a very good product, it has made my life and work easier! I use Releem on every production server.
The prices are adequate, I think, for such a good product and the support is at a very high level.
I recommend to every database administrator!

A one stop shop for MySQL monitoring, configuration management and slow queries. Given the amount of configurable options MySQL has, it's great to have something like Releem looking after your servers. Not to mention keep an eye on newly introduced parameters, defaults changes, deprecations and differences between versions.
