If you’re like me, you’re tired of seeing crappy Notion templates that people spent a day or two building on PH. Let me assure you, this is not one of those templates. This is an incredibly well thought out template that has the power to actually help you organize your second brain and stay on top of the things you have to do. It is well worth the money, because building something with the same features would take a long, long time.

I was creating and ajusting a second brain for myself for more than 4 months and I was hitting multiple workflow limitations on my system. It took me only two weeks to be fully functional and organized on Ultimate Brain, including learning all aspects of Ultimate Brain, migrate all my info from my previous system to the right place and starting to use it to a point of using less time to get the same work done. My favourite part of Ultimate Brain is the Quick Capture page. It was the only method that guaranteed as much urgency as possible making sure I captured all my notes and tasks ONLY on notion while also not becoming a huge mess with time.

Amazing template from one of the best Notion & productivity masters!

As an aged geek, I spend hours playing with the tech but never quite get around to doing anything useful with it. Investing in the UB means I am actually using Notion - not messing about (and at my age, I don't have the time to waste). I have made more progress with my second brain in a week than I have in the last 6 months, thanks to the UB. When I buy things it usually doesn't take me long to find something that's missing or might be better done another way......so far that hasn't happened with UB. One week in, and I'm already seen fabulous results. After creating a channel for each of my projects, I immediately saw that some of the projects were undoable, so I've trimmed them down to something realistic. Also, my podcast episode workflow is nowhere near as overwhelming as it used to be. I can see all the steps for each episode, and I can move them from column to column as I complete each step. Love that. My only regret about Ultimate Brain is not having joined in before.

This is an easy product to recommend. Being a Bullet Journal user for about seven years I've struggled to find a digital productivity substitute. Having tried several alternatives they've always lacked the breadth of features I was looking for. That's where Ultimate Brain has come in. Ultimate Brain is a very comprehensive solution. It's many features may seem daunting, but the breadth of tutorials and access to the support channel have made ramp up time and usage a quick process. The ability to customize the solution to fit my needs has been refreshing. I live in the "My Day" section which provides access to everything important. Additionally I've been able to create areas for my day job, side gig, and hobbies allowing them all to be separate but easily accessable due to the shared database structure. All of this leads to an abandonment of my Bullet Journal and now I have access to everything from my desktop, iPad, and phone.

I liked the year I had with the August Bardley's system but Thomas Frank's looks like it will suit me better. I am only a week into it and still migrating but I can say that I enjoy the way that it supports PARA by having links between Projects, Areas, Resources, Tasks etc so conveniently and intuitively connected.

I have been using various note taking and task management apps over the years but never consolidated everything into one place. The relations between Projects, Tasks, and Notes mean that my class notes are always where I need them, and Notion's code snippet and LaTeX blocks have allowed me to build a repository of useful formulas, R and Python scripts. I'm not sure how I functioned before I started using Ultimate Brain. It's shaping up to be the best investment I've made in years.

I’ve been looking for an ultimate productivity app/ template to achieve organization in my personal, studies, and work life. I love using Calendar to remind me with everything that will happen in a day, but I also like to take notes, write daily journals, research stuffs for work, and write reviews or insights on a book I am reading currently. I can do all these with the Ultimate Brain and I am absolutely getting a lot of things done! I really like the recurring tasks and the subtasks feature! I had a decent work space using the PARA concept, Objectives, Master Data bases, relations, roll ups, etc. I neglected to build out templates though. And the Resource / Area was a mess. I've watched Thomas Frank videos in the past and he always impresses with the detail and thoroughness. I figured why not give Ultimate Brain a try to see if I can get to the next level. The system is solid. For me, it seems about right. I've invested time going through the system (which is needed to learn it). Thumbs up!

Of all the "Second Brain" templates I've heard of, Thomas J Frank's is the best and most comprehensive. It not only incorporates Tiago Forte's tools, but also GTD and other possibilities. I like staying physically organized and neat, I don’t like messes. But I always had a hard time staying digitally organized. My projects, to do lists, and notes always ended up in different places and it KINDA worked. But it always bugged me that my digital life was less organized than my home. I've known for years that Notion was probably the tool that I'd always wanted to manage my life, but as for figuring it out? As much experience as I have picking up tech tools and productivity hacks, I just couldn't seem to trounce the learning curve. Having a pre-built OS was exactly what I needed. I just got UB, and have been importing my notes, projects, tasks into it ever since. This thing is definitely the most powerful template I've come across and the flexibility of it is top notch.
